Graphene and filtering face piece masks

Recent news has shed light on the use of graphene by some manufacturers of filter masks to fight the Covid 19 pandemic. This nanomaterial with reputed virucidal properties would provide better protection than usual masks.

However, the Canadian health ministry recalled all graphene masks on March 26. Inhalation of graphene particles has reportedly caused respiratory discomfort and skin irritation in some users.

Singer® Safety would like to remind its customers that the composition of its disposable filter masks has not changed and that none of the references offered contain this nanomaterial.
