NITRILE

Nitrile is a synthetic rubber with excellent resistance to a wide variety of dangerous solvents and chemicals (*) as well as perforation, cuts, snags and abrasion.

Nitrile provides excellent protection against oils, grease, acids, corrosive substances (*) and various petroleum by-products (*).

The chemical resistance of a glove made of nitrile (*) is proportional to its thickness, but its elasticity diminishes as its chemical resistance increases.

Depending on the type of glove and its applications, nitrile gloves can be used at temperatures between -4°C and +150°C.

The cut and abrasion resistances of nitrile gloves are better than those of gloves made of neoprene or PVC.

(*) Only for gloves tested against chemicals in compliance with EN 374
