Too often, misleading or poorly verified claims have contributed to “Green washing” and the devaluation of real actions undertaken for the protection of the environment.

The use of recycled materials helps preserve natural and energy resources.

GRS (Global Recycle Standard) is a voluntary standard, developed by Control Union Certifications in 2008 then and became the property of Textile Exchange on January 1, 2011.

GRS is an international, voluntary standard that establishes certification criteria for recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical composition restrictions.

Certification bodies (CB) assess the conformity of products claiming this standard and carry out audits of the chain.

The GRS label implies high standards with regard to the traceability of the recycled materials used in the manufacture of the products and the veracity of the claims made.

This label requires certification (scope certificate SC) of all the actors in the chain, from the recycler to the owner of the brand of the finished product.

A transaction certificate (TC) is also required to guarantee the reliability of the whole chain.

The GRS label
- guarantees that the raw material meets the definition of recycled content (EN ISO 14021),
- applies to products containing 20% or more recycled content,
- authorizes labeling with the GRS label for products with 50% or more recycled content,
- ensures the chain of control from the source to the final product,
- includes social and environmental requirements,
- restricts the intentional use of hazardous chemicals in products.

We are happy to now be able to offer you GRS certified products validated by the Ecocert laboratory. (download the certificate)

But our action does not stop there because for several years we have undertaken a more global CSR approach with a view to certification planned for the end of 2023.
Among our recent actions we have undertaken:
- to reduce the use of plastic in our packaging in the short term,
- to promote the use of recycled materials for our packaging (bags, boxes, paper instructions, etc.)
- to have all our suppliers sign an ethical and environmental charter
- to replace all our old bulbs (offices, warehouse) with LEDs
- to set up within our organization the sharing of value (bonuses, profit-sharing agreement, etc.)
- to develop carpooling and telecommuting
- Etc.

More information will be available soon on our commitments.
