Gloves

Little tips and practical advice

 


Glove assembling methods are not known to be harmful to the user’s health or safety.

However, be advised that wearing protec-tive gloves for extended periods of times, particularly in hot and/or humid weather, will result in perspiration.
Therefore, it is advised to take the gloves off from time to time to let your hands breathe in open air, and change dirty or worn gloves.
However never expose yourself to a risk with bear hands.

The use is also advised to wash his hands with clear water, possibly with neutral soap after using the gloves. Put the gloves on clean dry hands.
Suitable creams can also be used.
Do not wear jewelry, rings, bracelets, ear-rings...during your work.



Your hands are beautiful but fragile. Take care of them!



Donning / doffing / adjustment

Put on the glove by passing your hand through the wrist (or the cuff) and make sure it fits comfortably  to the contours of your hand.

The fingers of the glove should not be too long or too short to ensure good dexterity.

The equipment should not be too loose or too tight. If not, try another size or model.

Do not work with equipment that is not suitable for your hand.

When used together with other forms of PPE make sure that they are compatible and that the assembly does not interfere with your activity or your safety.


After use, and after making sure that the risk is no longer present, it is advisable to gently and alternately remove the left and right gloves.
 
For gloves used against chemical risks, it is advisable to gently and alternately remove the left and right gloves using the gloved hand to avoid any contact of the harmful product with the bare hand.
