Protective gloves. General requirements and test methods

Requirements for protective gloves including ergonomy, glove construction, high visibility, innocuousness, cleaning, comfort and efficiency, marking and information to be supplied.
Also applies to gloves in permanent containment enclosures. Does not apply to electricians' or surgical gloves.

It does not concern the protective properties of gloves and should not therefore be used alone but only in combination with the appropriate European standard (s). A non-exhaustive list of these standards is given in the bibliography
