Personal fall protection equipment. Lanyards

This document specifies the requirements, test methods, marking, information supplied by the manufacturer and packaging for lanyards.

Lanyards conforming to this standard are used as connecting elements or components in personal fall protection systems (i.e. restraint systems, work positioning systems, rope access systems, fall arrest systems and rescue systems).

EN 354 - LANYARDS
	Lanyards are connecting elements, they can include an energy absorber, which helps absorbing the impact of a fall. In this case, this element is covered by the standard EN 355.
